Vortex howler throw
-
Athletes will throw from behind a marked line, and stepping over the line during a throw is a foul and cannot be measured. The competitor is allowed a short run up to the line if desired, but be aware of stepping over.
-
A throw is measured from the line to where the Vortex Howler has come to rest. (Where it comes to rest is easier to be consistent on than where it first lands).
-
Athletes will be given three consecutive throws. Their best throw will be measured and recorded.
